Areas of render have been repaired in the past with a strong cement mix on wire and coasted in plastic based masonary paint. Having identified this we are looking to remove existing cement and failed lime render, initially from the end gable where the render is now failing. We will then replace with lathe and re-plaster with a hydralic lime sharp sand mix before applying lime wash. Whilst we will start by repairing/replacing render to the failed end gable it is anticipated that similar improvements wil be made to other elevations hence this application covers all.
