DC/21/0377/FUL | Conservation maintenance to re-tile the roof to the road facing elevation of Mill Cottage, Mill House and The Mill on the Ashe Abbey site. The roof tiles of the building have deteriorated to the point whereby they are crumbling and will soon cause water ingress issues. The proposal is to erect a scaffold to the elevation, remove the old roof tiles, battens and felt and replace with new felt, battens and tiles. The intention is match as close as possible, the new tiles wit the old and we have samples of the proposed replacement tiles already on site and would be happy to discuss these. We don't feel that this represents any kind of significant change to the building other than improvement to the roof construction which we consider part of the ongoing necessary maintenance on the site. | Ash Abbey Loudham Road Campsea Ashe Suffolk IP13 0PJ
