TPO 254 Front garden T8 Thorn - Fell to ground level. Reason- After removing Ivy, which encased the tree, there is rotting at the bottom of the trunk. Concerns of safety, possible damaging telephone line/cars, as located at opening driveway. A faulty drain at the top of drive, on the road, has caused substantial amounts of water to come into the garden over the last few months. This area has always been moist all year round, but never saturated as it is at the moment. T4 Twin stem popular - Fell to ground level. Reason: After removing the ivy which encased the trunk, it exposed a large rotten hole. The depth is almost halfway through the trunk. As this is a rather large tree, if it was to fail could possibly reach to the properties opposite it. The amount of water from faulty drain may have contributed to the damage.
